How Many Photos Do You Need for Real Estate Listings?

  I have recently relocated to regional Queensland, Rockhampton area to be precise. I was looking through some recent listings on the Real Estate Portals and noticed something about one of the largest agencies in the area. They were advertising a number of smaller properties, 2 or 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom & 1 Car type properties but had over 20 images. To me, that is just too many. Browsing through the images it became obvious that they really had lost sight of the reason for the images. With smaller, basic properties there really isn't a lot to photograph and this proved to be correct in these properties. The end result is three angles of the kitchen, three angles of the living room and even 2 angles of small bedrooms. The question is why? I think they are just being lazy! However, it is important that the right precautions are taken to ensure that agents do not expose themselves to unnecessary legal risk due to lack of knowledge regarding the relevant laws.
